Job summary

Bombardier invites motivated engineering students to join the Acoustics and Vibrations team as an Intern in Engineering Acoustics (Winter 2027) based in Dorval, QC. You will contribute to test planning, data analysis and reporting while gaining hands-on experience with vibro-acoustic tools and aircraft knowledge.

The 4-month program combines hands-on testing, software exposure (Matlab, Sim Center, VA One) and collaboration within a dynamic team, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement and

Qualifications

• You are enrolled as an undergraduate, Master’s or PhD level student in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Eng. Physics) with a focus on acoustics or structural modeling.
• You have an interest in acoustics and vibration and in aerospace.
• Familiar with: Acoustics and vibration analysis (Fourier analysis)
• Proficient with Matlab
• Familiar with Excel and VBA
• Familiar with VA One and Sim Center (an asset)
• Familiar with Hyper Mesh (an asset)
• Fluent in English and French for written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Produce ground, flight or laboratory test plan
• Perform ground or flight acoustics and vibration tests
• Analyze acoustics and vibration data
• Produce technical reports
• Develop vibro-acoustic analytical tools (FEM, SEA, Ray tracing)
• Use vibro-acoustic models for predictions

What are your contributions to the team?

During your internship, you will contribute to:
