Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Design Coordinator Intern to support major construction projects across Canada. Eligible candidates are currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program and should be legally authorized to work in Canada for the internship duration.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help facilitate communication between designers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor design schedules and track progress to ensure timely reviews and submissions.
• Support the management of design inputs, requests, and responses.
• Participate in the RFI and Quality Review processes, ensuring clarity and relevance.
• Review feedback and assist in coordinating design decisions related to procurement and construction.
• Assist in organizing design workshops and documenting meeting outcomes.
• Support site visits, field reviews, and inspections, and assist in preparing field reports and follow-up documentation.

To be eligible for Pomerleau’s internship program, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
• Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date.

What you will do
