Job summary

Bombardier invites students to join its Defense Transformation internship for Winter 2027 at the Administrative Centre (CA), Canada. You will develop, lead and implement analyses to support the business strategy, forecast segments with financial models, and benchmark capabilities against competitors.

You will plan executive presentations, present findings to leadership, and help automate tools to improve quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or Commerce (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of studies in this program (1 year for Master’s).
• Ability to work autonomously, be organized and manage time.
• Proactive and self-motivated; takes initiative.
• Strong Windows skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French is an asset.
• Strong team player with a drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and execute strategic analyses to support the business' strategic plan (increase revenue, margin, or reduce costs).
• Forecast different segments by building a financial model.
• Conduct benchmarking between capabilities and competitors.
• Research, track and consolidate data on market drivers and industry trends.
• Plan, coordinate and prepare presentations for leadership.
• Present analysis and recommended strategy to leadership.
• Improve and/or automate the team's tools and processes to increase quality and productivity.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Develop, lead and execute strategic analyses for the Business' strategic plan to increase revenue, increase margin or reduce costs;

• Conduct comparative analyses and benchmarking between our competitors' capabilities and our capabilities;
• Research, track and/or consolidate data on key market drivers, industry trends, competitors and future trends;

How to thrive in this role?

• You are currently completing or have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Management, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or Commerce (or equivalent) in a recognized University;
• You have completed a minimum of 2 years of studies in this program (or 1 year for Master's);
• You work autonomously by being well organized and planning your time;
• You take the initiative to do things without it being asked;
• You have good computer skills (Windows), including very strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint;
• You have a good level of written and speaking English; French is an asset
• You are a good team worker and are highly reliable;
• You have a clear drive for result

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
