Laurentian Bank Securities seeks a diligent intern to join the sales and trading team. You will work on research projects that support customer transactions and identify deal opportunities within the Canadian fixed income market, gaining exposure to market making and debt issuance dynamics.

The internship is open to diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate students and offers a paid, flexible hybrid work arrangement with opportunities for full-time work after graduation.

This role sits within Laurentian Bank Securities.

The intern will work closely with the sales and trading team on research projects that will help our team facilitate customer transactions and identify deal opportunities. This period of work will enable the student to gain excellent experience of the Canadian fixed income market: market making, how different types of clients make decisions, how economic data and issues move markets, how governments and corporations issue debt, and much more.
