Work with a collaborative team from concept through construction; develop designs, calculations, specs, and documents while communicating solutions through reports and visuals. The role offers growth within a global professional services leader.

Qualifications

• 4 to 9 years of experience in structural design across industrial, commercial, institutional or military projects.
• Designing and analyzing steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and related structural systems.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and CSA standards.
• Ability to coordinate projects across multiple disciplines and with clients.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and support field reviews.
• Ability to obtain PSPC Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering solutions for building projects through all phases from concept to construction.
• Conduct investigations, assessments, and inspections to support safe, resilient outcomes.
• Develop structural designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and clients to execute complex projects.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, visualizations and presentations.
• Support project delivery with budgeting, scheduling and resource planning.
• Apply industry standards and emerging technologies for future-ready solutions.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships while upholding quality and safety.

P.Eng. designation in Nova Scotia, or eligibility to obtain registration.
