Job summary

WSP is seeking an Intermediate Bridge Engineer to advance transportation infrastructure across Atlantic Canada. You will lead design, analysis, rehabilitation and project delivery from NB offices or other Atlantic offices, working with multidisciplinary teams to improve mobility, safety and resilience.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a P.Eng. or eligibility, and a minimum of five years in bridge projects, with proficiency in analysis software and strong client collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural or bridge engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in New Brunswick or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience in bridge design, assessment, rehabilitation, and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and bridge design software.
• Strong understanding of Canadian bridge codes, transportation standards, and engineering best practices.
• Experience preparing technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Join WSP's Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) team as an Intermediate Bridge Engineer and play a key role in delivering transportation infrastructure that strengthens communities across Atlantic Canada. Working from any WSP office in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador, you'll contribute to the planning, design, rehabilitation, and delivery of impactful bridge projects that enhance mobility, safety, and connectivity for generations to come.

Compensation

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
