About the role

As Cetaris seeks an Intermediate Software Integration Specialist who thrives on troubleshooting and multitasking to resolve issues that align with our customers' mission-critical requirements.

You will be part of a team involved in configuring system integrations to and from third party software to our suite of Cetaris applications. You'll participate in automating, identifying and resolving issues affecting the deployment of the integrations, and documenting module layouts, user guides and technical details to support customer’s effective use of non-standard integration points.

Career path: With increased product knowledge and experience, the Software Integration Specialist will interface with Fortune 500 customers by taking their integration requirements and working with our team to produce integration points to be implemented with the customer. Training customer teams to effectively utilize integration functionality and acting in a Business Analyst or Project Management role for specific integration projects, the Software Integration Specialist will learn our existing System Integration framework, and help us bring it to the next generation using the latest technologies to reduce maintenance and increase customer usability.

Hours and location

Our team continues to work 100% remotely with occasional in person meet-ups in the Greater Toronto Area. Future plans around location are still open. Our primary goal is to keep our team and their families safe and well. Flexible work hours.

Compensation

This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours/week), with an annual salary (based on experience) plus bonus. Shared medical, dental, wellness, and insurance benefits.

What you will do

• With learning support from the Cetaris team, become a Subject Matter Expert in transportation and asset management business user needs and application business rules.
  
• Work with requirements analysis, product and development teams to identify necessary interfaces between systems and prepare system integration related recommendations.
• Map customer and data vendor data models to Cetaris’ Enterprise Asset Management systems master data models.
• Write T-SQL database queries as part of the integration requirements analysis and configuration processes.
• Configure, test, and maintain system integration interfaces to achieve successful data exchange between third-party systems and Cetaris’ Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Design interface specifications that are reusable across a diverse range of customers.
• Help to improve established data integration analysis and configuration standards, tools and methodologies, and process documentation.

Requirements and skills

• You have 3-4 years’ experience with data analysis involving data integration, ideally in a software development environment.
• You thrive on learning new systems, problem solving, and managing the flow of large amounts of data.
• You easily grasp and interpret complex business concepts/processes/rules.
• You possess advanced intermediate knowledge of T-SQL, and database query writing is an area where you shine.
• Ability to read and interpret XML.
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and the Microsoft Office and Windows platforms.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts in user-friendly terms.
