Our client is seeking an experienced intermediate/senior construction purchasing specialist with 5+ years of construction procurement experience, including strong CCDC contract and sourcing experience, to support construction and facilities projects.

1-year Contract

Calgary based - hybrid environment, 2-3 days/week on-site

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in construction procurement/purchasing
• 3+ years of experience working with CCDC contracts (Canadian Construction Documents Committee.)
• Strong knowledge of construction procurement, materials, project phases, and the construction lifecycle
• Experience with competitive bidding, sourcing, negotiation, and contract execution
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, internal controls, and financial procedures
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• SCMP designation

Nice-to-Have:

• MBA or other relevant post-secondary education
• Experience working within a public-sector, educational, or institutional environment
• Experience supporting facilities management or construction project teams
