About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to join our Canada Gas Projects team, focusing on Pipeline Integrity projects across Canadian assets. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment delivering high-impact projects from concept to completion.

Candidates with a junior background may also be considered based on their exposure to pipeline integrity projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Development & Feasibility: Conduct feasibility studies and analyses to assess technical, financial, and operational viability.
2. Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans aligned with standards (TOMS, PDS), defining scope, timelines, and resources.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment with project goals.
5. Resource & Budget Management: Coordinate resource allocation and monitor budgets to meet financial targets.
6. Risk & Change Management: Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; manage scope, schedule, and budget changes.
7. Safety & Quality Leadership: Promote safety culture and support site safety and quality assurance.
8. Supply Chain Coordination: Work with Supply Chain for contractor engagement, RFPs, scope, and purchase orders.
9. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track project performance and report on progress, issues, and improvements.
10. Post-Construction Monitoring: Ensure environmental and regulatory commitments are met post-construction.
11. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements and team initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or related technical field (preferred); diploma considered.
2. Certifications: PMP certification is an asset.
3. Experience: At least 3 years in project management within Pipeline Integrity or similar energy projects; proven project delivery from start to finish; familiarity with TOMS, PDS, and short-cycle delivery is preferred.
4. Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, decision-making, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills; customer-focused; valid driver's license with clean record.
