The Remediation Program Management team offers an opportunity to apply your skills within WSP, supporting key clients through environmental remediation challenges. Typical Day in the Life of an Intermediate Environmental Scientist
  • Apply and expand your technical, client, and project delivery skills within a Canadian-based firm.
  • Understand project objectives, contribute ideas, and coordinate with project managers and mentors.
  • Manage project tasks including fieldwork setup, safety planning, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and documentation.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for environmental assessments and remediation.
  • Develop your career through mentorship and diverse project experiences.
  • Collaborate within a client-specific team, leveraging the broader RPM group expertise.
  • Engage with Practice Area Networks for complex technical issues, potentially across international locations.
  • Participate in fieldwork in Western Canada (up to 40%) and work on challenging environmental projects.
Qualities and Qualifications

You are someone who:

  • Enjoys outdoor work and office tasks (up to 60%).
  • Has excellent communication skills and is a natural coordinator.
  • Enjoys mentoring and training junior staff.
  • Is eager to learn continuously.

Your qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the environmental industry.
  • Experience related to upstream oil and gas is an asset.
