Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience including project management.
• Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with a provincial association (APEGM/APEGS) or Eng.L; license required for some roles.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing and fire protection for renovations and greenfield projects.
• Ability to travel to project sites and collaborate with architects, owners, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial mechanical projects from proposal through completion, including budget and schedule oversight.
• Provide construction administration services, site inspections, and coordination with contractors and owners.
• Design modifications and develop new mechanical systems for commercial projects.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, reports and project documentation.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings in accordance with standards.
• Conduct mechanical analysis and design for projects across sectors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet schedules and budgets.
• Work directly with client groups, including architects and contractors.
• Support pursuit of new business opportunities and mentor junior staff.
