Position Overview

We are seeking an intermediate landscape architect/designer to join our team in our Calgary office. The candidate will have 3-7 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture firm/urban design setting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects through all phases of design, from conceptual to detailed design, construction documentation and construction administration.
  2. Prepare landscape concept plans and detailed design packages.
  3. Assist Principal Landscape Architect with daily tasks and project coordination.
  4. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment when required.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  2. 3-7 years experience in landscape architecture.
  3. Demonstrate a high proficiency in design software such as Autocad, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suites, and 3D rendering software.
  4. Demonstrate ability to work independently.
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and consultants.
  6. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  7. Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and materials.
  8. Demonstrate understanding of construction document preparation.
  9. A valid driver’s license.
