Job summary

Zeidler Partnership Architects in Calgary is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join the Calgary Studio on federal and corporate workplace projects. The role focuses on design development, documentation, and project coordination, with increasing responsibility for contract documents under senior staff guidance.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, contribute to design direction, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality interior environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design from a recognized institution
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Registered Interior Designer in good standing with a provincial interior design association (e.g., AAA, ARIDO, IDA, IDIBC) is required
• Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Strong design and detailing skills
• Experience with contract documentation and project coordination

Responsibilities

• Design and Documentation: Develop design ideas and contribute to the evolution of the overall concept
• Prepare presentations and design packages with limited oversight
• Create and develop detailed drawings and documentation in Revit and AutoCAD
• Assist with FF&E selections, layouts, and schedules
