Job summary

Zeidler Architecture in Calgary seeks an Intermediate Interior Design Technologist for the Calgary Studio to support federal and corporate workplace projects. The role focuses on coordinating interior design documentation, leading modeling and specification work, and ensuring code compliance through multiple project phases.

The ideal candidate has several years of experience with contract documents, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and a commitment to collaborative, in-office work.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design Technology or related discipline.
• 5–9 years of experience producing interior design contract documents.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience across commercial, residential, institutional projects.
• Working knowledge of Building Codes and municipal bylaws.
• Familiarity with contract administration processes.
• LEED AP or WELL AP, PMP are assets; InDesign/SketchUp/3D rendering skills are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup and development of documentation, modeling, and specifications across design phases.
• Prepare complete drawing packages for permit and construction submissions.
• Review and coordinate technical drawings for constructability and code compliance.
• Coordinate with consultant teams and integrate input into documentation.
• Liaise with clients and authorities to support design approvals.
• Attend site meetings and assist in contract administration tasks.
• Foster collaboration and ensure compliance with project delivery standards.
