SRK Consulting in Vancouver, BC is seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our Water Management team. Based in our Vancouver office, with potential remote locations considered for the right candidate, this role focuses on groundwater hydrology within mining projects.

You will conduct fieldwork planning, drill supervision, instrumentation deployment, data analysis, and conceptual modeling, contributing to environmental and engineering components from exploration through mine operations and

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in geology or related field with emphasis on hydrogeology/hydrology
• At least five years of relevant experience; mining experience is a benefit
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally and possibly internationally
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Professional registration or eligibility to obtain it

Responsabilidades

• Plan and supervise field work, including drill supervision and installation of groundwater instrumentation (>250 m)
• Develop and interpret hydrogeological data, construct conceptual models and prepare reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mining, geochemistry, water management and engineering
• Contribute to project design, water balance estimates and remediation assessments
• Manage tasks and junior staff to meet project goals and timelines
