Your Contribution

The Intermediate Hydrogeologist will coordinate and manage hydrogeological projects, overseeing field staff, subcontractors, supplies, and technical reports for review. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will support various projects and collaborate with the team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work;
  • Coordinating subcontractors such as drillers and laboratories;
  • Interpreting data and preparing reports;
  • Developing study designs and proposals;
  • Building client relationships;
  • Participating in business development;
  • Applying hydrogeological expertise within multidisciplinary approaches;
  • Managing projects from proposal to close-out, including schedules, budgets, and client communication;
  • Coordinating with senior project managers;
  • Promoting health and safety policies.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field;
  • Licensed or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario or PGO;
  • 3-5 years of relevant consulting experience;
  • Experience in hydrogeological investigations, sampling, and regulations;
  • Knowledge of groundwater monitoring, testing, and interpretation;
  • Familiarity with dewatering, water balance assessments, and impact mitigation;
  • Experience with pumping tests and water permit applications is an asset;
  • Knowledge of environmental site assessments and remediation is an asset;
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills;
  • Proficiency with computer applications and spreadsheets;
  • Valid G driver's license and access to a car.
