Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking an experienced Estimator within the Pre-Construction team to support new and ongoing project growth, challenging industry standards with trade‑driven expertise. You will collaborate with the proposals team and client groups to secure bids and ensure project success.

In this role you will perform detailed quantity take‑offs, identify project‑specific prices for labor, equipment and materials, and interpret technical specifications with precision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant estimating experience in the construction industry.
• University Degree, College Diploma or certificate in Engineering or Construction Management, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
• Experience building relationships with industry and project stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of the bid process cycle.
• Strong research skills for identifying and analyzing project expenses.
• Expertise in quantity take-offs to guarantee accuracy in contract specifications and pricing.

Working on large‑scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with our proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project success.
