Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Traffic Signals

Join us as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Traffic Signals at GHD. We are seeking a proactive professional to support design projects involving traffic signal systems, street lighting, and power distribution, primarily based in our GTA offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design preparation for traffic signalization and street lighting systems
• Site investigations, inspections, and assessments
• Developing detailed specifications and quantity schedules
• Coordination with clients, authorities, and design teams
• Leading internal design/drafting teams
• Review and quality control of design drawings
• Sealing plans and contributing to proposals and estimates
• Managing project budgets and timelines
• Mentoring junior staff

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, registered with PEO
• 5-10 years' related experience
• Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code, AODA, Ontario Traffic Manual, IESNA RP-8, TAC guidelines
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with AGI32, MicroStation, and AutoCAD
• G class driver’s license
