Job Summary

This role requires a team player capable of receiving and executing instructions from the Senior Designer/Project Manager or Team Leader with minimal supervision. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Good communication skills, initiative, and a willingness to learn are important. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and respond reliably to critical situations is required.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• AutoCAD and Revit drafting and design operations
• Assist Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders by:
• Maintaining design files and checklists, performing cable calculations, lighting modeling, and schematic design for LV, HC, control, and lighting systems with minimal supervision
• Ensuring adherence to Introba design checklists and AutoCAD standards
• Coordinating electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines (Architects, Structural, Code, Geotechnical), with support from senior staff
• Coordinating service connections with utility and municipal agencies
• Reviewing and processing shop drawings with senior staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD experience and 2 years of design experience in LV, HV, control, and lighting systems
• Revit experience required
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and electrical drawings with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of electrical building services codes
• University degree or college diploma in Electrical Engineering
