Your Role
As an Intermediate Designer at BBB Architects, you will join our firm for a full-time opportunity at our Toronto office, working closely with our Interiors Team.
What You Will Do
- Work on architectural projects as a member of a design team, participating in all phases of the Interior Design Process.
- Collaborate with Partners, designers, architects, and directors to plan, design, develop, and gain real-world experience working with clients and stakeholders.
- Consult with the Firm’s Partners and senior staff on design, technical, production, scope, or client issues. Manage your time and meet the firm’s targets for billings and project deadlines.
- Strive for design impact, innovation, and functionality. Develop approaches, concepts, and designs that exceed client expectations.
- Create renderings and presentations that attract and inspire clients and team members.
- Design and execute components of projects of moderate complexity from proposal through construction and closeout, ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency in drawings and documentation.
- Reduce rework, errors, and omissions; stay current with industry-standard computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Be prepared for business-related overnight or extended travel if required.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor of Interior Design from an accredited school.
- Membership in ARIDO or NCIDQ certification (asset).
- 3+ years of experience in a design or architectural firm.
- Experience with Revit, Rhino, and BIM modeling software.
- Proficiency in 3D rendering software such as Enscape, V-ray, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or others.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
