Who are we looking for?

Our Waterloo & GTA offices are looking for an Intermediate Contract Administrator to join our growing Canadian Operations within our Construction Phase Services group.

The Water Group within GHD Canada works with regional and municipal clients, servicing private industry on projects across water facilities including Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations, Potable Water Towers, and Underground Water and Sewer Infrastructure. We provide services throughout the project lifecycle from asset management to detailed design and construction engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract administration for private, provincial, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate daily with project managers, designers, inspectors, contractors, property owners, and clients during construction.
• Manage contract documents, payment certificates, and performance documentation.
• Handle field changes, claims, and resolve construction issues.
• Host progress meetings, draft agendas, and record minutes.
• Maintain filing systems per ISO standards.
• Develop and uphold project policies related to quality, safety, and ethics.
• Assist with constructability reviews and scope changes.
• Liaise with clients for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• C.E.T or P.Eng designation preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in water industry projects.
• Experience as a Contract Administrator on large water/wastewater projects.
• Proficiency with construction documents, scheduling, and MS Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work remotely or on-site with a valid driver’s license.
