Job Description

CIMA+’s Infrastructure team combines top-notch skills with an understanding of the local community to deliver customized infrastructure services for municipalities and real-estate developers. We have delivered hundreds of projects across Canada, including innovative solutions for water and wastewater assets, on time and on budget.

The CIMA+ team in Saskatoon is seeking an Intermediate Survey Technologist. This role involves working on diverse projects related to municipal, water, and wastewater markets primarily in Saskatchewan.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Design and drafting for water/wastewater, land development, and municipal infrastructure projects
  2. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed engineering drawings and plans, including:
    • Site plans, Grading plans, Profiles and cross-sections, Utility plans, Drainage plans, and details.
    • Perform 3D modeling and surface creation
    • Perform Pipe Modeling via Pipe Networks
  3. Perform drafting reviews.
  4. Perform survey data processing.
  5. Interaction with senior technologists and engineers within a mentoring environment.
Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent education at a minimum.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the municipal and/or water and wastewater industries.
  • Consideration will be given to the applicant's demonstrated level of municipal and/or water and wastewater experience.
  • Active member or eligible to be a member with SASTT.
  • Proficient knowledge of Civil3D software, modern survey techniques, Microsoft Office Products, Bluebeam Revu.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
