Our Saskatoon branch is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join their team! Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is one of the largest suppliers of Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, Security, Nurse Call, and Communications Systems in Canada. Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems, and other life safety systems as required.
  • Ensure the highest standards of system reliability and client satisfaction are met.
  • Perform verifications on fire alarm systems.
  • Complete work orders and reports in a timely manner.
  • Be on-call for emergency service calls and work.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and Troy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Completion of or enrollment in CFAA Certification Courses; willingness to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Two years of community college in electronics or equivalent training/work experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience or training in fire alarm systems is an asset.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work afternoons/nights on an ongoing basis.
