Job summary

WSP's Transportation and Infrastructure team is seeking an Intermediate Bridge Technician to help plan, design, rehabilitate and deliver bridge projects across Atlantic Canada from any NB, NS, PEI, or NL office.

You will prepare detailed bridge drawings, collaborate with engineers and designers, and apply Canadian standards to produce high-quality documentation. The role offers growth through diverse projects and a collaborative, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge drafting, detailing, and transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, or other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and construction documentation.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information and drawings.

  • Prepare detailed bridge drawings, models, and design deliverables for transportation projects.
  • Support development of bridge rehabilitation and replacement solutions to improve connectivity.

Join WSP's Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) team as an Intermediate Bridge Technician and play a key role in delivering transportation infrastructure that strengthens communities across Atlantic Canada. Working from any WSP office in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador, you'll contribute to the planning, design, rehabilitation, and delivery of impactful bridge projects that enhance mobility, safety, and connectivity for generations to come.

Your Impact

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and construction documentation.
  • Experience preparing technical drawings and coordinating multidisciplinary design information.
  • Knowledge of Canadian bridge design and transportation infrastructure practices.

Compensation

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
