Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering Technology/Technician diploma from an accredited college.
  • Experience with the design of municipal infrastructure projects including water, sanitary, and stormwater projects.
  • Experience working as part of a multi-discipline design team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed design layouts, sketches, and drawings.
  • Produce civil/municipal engineering drawings and 3D modeling.
  • Coordinate and check drawings with other engineering disciplines.
  • Prepare quantity estimates to support project planning and delivery.
  • Monitor and inspect construction operations for compliance.
  • Investigate field and design problems and prepare reports.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and contractors.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to support project execution.

Join our St John’s, Newfoundland team as a Civil Engineering Technologist / Technician and contribute to meaningful municipal infrastructure projects that support growing communities. In this role, you’ll bring designs to life and help deliver impactful infrastructure solutions, from concept through construction.

Your Impact
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed design layouts, sketches, and drawings
  • Produce civil/municipal engineering drawings and 3D modeling

  • Investigate field and design problems and prepare reports

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $77,400 - $102,500

MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
