Job description

iN STUDIO has an exciting opportunity to join our team.

We are seeking individuals capable of managing multiple projects, collaborating with Designers and Partners, and supporting models and all efforts related to Interior Design and Architecture.

The role requires extensive experience in drawing and the Construction Administration (CA) process, along with strong knowledge of Revit technology, design technology models, standards development, and best practices.

You should have a proven ability to guide team members, educate staff on technological aspects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in a thoughtful and process-oriented manner.

Responsibilities :

• Produce detailed and constructible technical drawings for interior design, considering design intent and detailing models accordingly.
• Participate in on-site reviews and meetings as needed.
• Identify potential technical issues early in the design process and propose solutions to ensure quality delivery to clients.
• Coordinate with external consultants such as mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers to ensure design constructability.
• Collaborate with project teams to generate construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Assist in contract administration, including RFIs and review of shop drawings.
• Optimize model management for performance and user experience.
• Contribute to company culture by participating in iN Studio committees.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Advanced diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in interior and/or architectural design delivery, with at least 3 years in corporate interiors or workplace projects.

Strong graphic communication skills and ability to produce organized, professional drawings.

Experience mentoring project teams and transferring technical skills.

Excellent client service skills, both internal and external, in a professional manner.

Expertise in Revit, including parametric families, scheduling, and streamlining workflows with add-ins.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and experience with architectural visualization tools (Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion) is preferred.

Experience with ACC (BIM 360) and its Issues module is an asset.

Comprehensive understanding of building systems and codes.

Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to troubleshoot, adapt to changing requirements, and work both independently and as part of a team.
