Job summary

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering background.
• Strong technical/manufacturing background in Interiors for the transportation industry.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and prioritize based on risk, urgency, and QCD impact.
• Able to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) of all industrialization deliverables to meet project objectives.
• Participate in design reviews and address industrial requirements in design/spec phases.
• Coordinate with other métiers/departments to define interior industrial strategy.
• Apply logistics requirements with supply chain for packaging and kitting needs.
• Propose and define handling and assembly tooling, including lifting and protection.
• Lead First Article Review (FAR) and participate in First Mounting Review (FMR).
• Document and track FAR/FMR issues with suppliers and teams.
• Coordinate with Engineering on design changes and retrofits.
• Identify industrial cost savings opportunities.
• Provide on-site production support at Train Manufacturing Sites in Canada and USA.
• Collaborate with interior platform team for continuous process improvement.
