Responsibilities:
Be able to develop conceptual design for retail and commercial applications, with use of 3D modelling software would be an asset. Have a strong and knowledgeable understanding of material, lighting and furniture specifications. Possess and demonstrate proficient AutoCAD Architecture and/or ADT skills, REVIT would be an asset. Be able to prepare a set of construction drawings for permitting and tender; possess strong technical detailing skills and knowledge of millwork fabrication and construction techniques. Strong knowledge of running a ROLL-OUT design program for Franchised and Corporate projects. Would include Project Management experience as well as heading up a team of designers. Understand the process for taking an environmental design project from the audit phase, through conceptual, to build-out. Have a working knowledge of Sketchup, Enscape, CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and how to use these tools to render both interior and exterior spaces;
