We are seeking an Interior Designer who will assist in developing design solutions, conducting research for the design team, and coordinating the design through all project phases.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, develop concept design schematics, and research material and furniture systems to ensure solutions meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
2. Prepare presentation boards and other presentation materials.
3. Create drawings, models, and renderings following office standards.
4. Attend meetings to coordinate drawings and resources, determine project criteria, and provide necessary information.
5. Prepare furniture procurement documents and oversee the delivery process of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
6. Stay updated on current design trends, FFE distributors, and presentation techniques to enhance skills and incorporate them into projects.
7. Prepare and coordinate construction drawings using REVIT.

Required Skills

1. Post-secondary education related to interior design.
2. Proficiency in interior design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office).
3. Experience in interior design and presentations, demonstrating creativity and aesthetic sense.
4. Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Structural permits, and building codes.
5. Experience in project delivery, management, and client relations.
6. Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to coordinate with team members and collaborate across disciplines.
8. Membership in a relevant Registered Interior Design Association is an asset.
