We are seeking an Interior Designer to assist in developing design solutions, conducting research for the design team, and coordinating projects through all phases.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, develop concept design schematics, and research material and furniture systems to ensure quality, timely, and budget-conscious solutions.
- Prepare presentation boards and other presentation materials.
- Create drawings, models, and renderings following office standards.
- Attend meetings to coordinate drawings, resources, and project criteria.
- Prepare furniture procurement documents and oversee delivery processes.
- Stay updated on current design trends, FFE distributors, and presentation techniques to enhance project work.
- Prepare and coordinate construction drawings using REVIT.
Required Skills and Experience
- Completed related post-secondary education.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in interior design and presentation, demonstrating creativity and aesthetic sense.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural permits, and building codes.
- Experience in project delivery, management, and client relations.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other disciplines.
- Membership in a relevant registered interior design association is an asset.
Experience and Seniority
- 1-4 years of project experience in interior design.
- Entry-level position.
