Join us as an Interior Designer at NORR

We are seeking an Interior Designer to assist in developing design solutions, conducting research for the design team, and coordinating projects through all phases.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, develop concept design schematics, and research material and furniture systems to ensure quality, timely, and budget-conscious solutions.
• Prepare presentation boards and other presentation materials.
• Create drawings, models, and renderings following office standards.
• Attend meetings to coordinate drawings, resources, and project criteria.
• Prepare furniture procurement documents and oversee delivery processes.
• Stay updated on current design trends, FFE distributors, and presentation techniques to enhance project work.
• Prepare and coordinate construction drawings using REVIT.

Required Skills and Experience

• Completed related post-secondary education.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in interior design and presentation, demonstrating creativity and aesthetic sense.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural permits, and building codes.
• Experience in project delivery, management, and client relations.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other disciplines.
• Membership in a relevant registered interior design association is an asset.
