Job summary

Aecon's Calgary Construction Operations is hiring Finish Grader Operators to support our Base Crew in Calgary, Alberta for the 2026 season. The role focuses on safe motor grader operation and precise grading to project specs, contributing to major infrastructure projects in the region.

You will lay and finish grades, work with materials to specification, and perform additional duties as needed. Candidates should be capable of overtime and night shifts while adhering to safety and drug/alcohol

Qualifications

• Knowledge of TopCon/Trimble GPS is an asset.
• Must understand grades and have knowledge of plans, drawings and road construction.
• Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license and has own vehicle to access jobsite.
• Willing to work overtime, nightshifts and weekends as required.

What Is The Opportunity?

Calgary Construction Operations is hiring Finish Grader Operators to support our Base Crew in Calgary, Alberta for the 2026 season.

What You'll Do Here:

• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Knowledge with TopCon/Trimble GPS considered an asset.
• Must be able to understand grades and have knowledge of plans, drawings and overall road construction.
• Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
• Willing to work overtime, nightshifts and weekends, as required.
• Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay Range: $38 - $44 per hour

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
