Job summary

University of Ottawa invites applications for a Replacement Professor in Earth and Environmental Sciences. The position is based in Ottawa, within the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, STEM Complex.

The role includes teaching five courses annually and contributing to academic service activities. The appointment is a 3-year non-renewable contract with a starting salary of 99,377 CAD per year, enhanced by a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.

Qualifications

• Education: PhD or equivalent in Geology, Geological Sciences or Earth Sciences.
• University-level teaching in mineralogy, petrology, petrography, and geochemistry.
• Research experience in academia and/or industry experience will be an asset.
• Experience in supervising (under)graduate students will be an asset.
