Job summary

A community service organization is looking for an Intensive Child & Family Worker for a full-time position in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The role involves supporting families, particularly Indigenous clients, in navigating treatment needs and promoting family cohesion. Candidates with a minimum of two years in human services and extensive experience with Anishinabek families are preferred. The position is not remote and requires flexibility in hours and travel within the community. Generous benefits and a competitive hourly wage of $26.48 to $33.54 are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of direct service and counselling with parents and children.
• Experience in family intervention and group facilitation.
• Valid Class 'G' Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support caregivers by addressing crises and understanding treatment needs.
• Engage with caregivers, siblings, and community members.
• Provide service primarily in family homes and community.
