Job summary

A community service agency is looking for a Family Preservation Coordinator in Thunder Bay, ON. The role focuses on coordinating Family Preservation Services, liaising with other service providers, and managing programming to meet the psychosocial needs of families, particularly within Indigenous communities. Candidates should have a degree in social work, four years of relevant experience, and a commitment to flexible hours and travel. Competitive hourly wage offered.

Qualifications

• A minimum HBSW or related degree with four years of child/family counselling experience is required.
• Significant experience in family intervention and/or group facilitation.
• Satisfactory Criminal Records Search including a Vulnerable Sector Search is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead Family Preservation Services under the Program Manager.
• Manage the Family Preservation Services waitlist in the district.
• Ensure programming meets client developmental and psychosocial needs.
