Job summary

AGLC is seeking an Integration Analyst to join our Information Technology team in St. Albert. You will design, develop, and maintain modern integration flows using MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services, and guide security and APIs across enterprise platforms.

You will lead technical initiatives, mentor peers, and collaborate with IT leadership, vendors, and cross-functional squads to deliver secure, scalable hybrid and cloud-native solutions in a dynamic, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing enterprise integration solutions.
  • Strong leadership and guidance on solution design and delivery.

JOB SUMMARY:

As anIntegration Analyst, you will play a vital role in molding our integration platform to meet the evolving digital needs of our organization. You will work with IT leadership, cross-functional squads, and external vendors to create secure, scalable hybrid and cloud-native solutions. Your enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology and proven technical leadership will inspire development teams across AGLC.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

  • Build Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain modern integration flows using MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management).
  • Own the Architecture: Implement secure internal and external-facing APIs, establish identity frameworks, and set up complex integration environments.
  • Automate Cloud Space: Script advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates to guarantee uniform cloud deployments.

Technical Leadership & Strategy

  • Guide and Mentor: Provide advanced integration expertise to stakeholders, mentor peers through code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
  • Translate Tech for Business: Turn abstract technical issues into easily understandable, risk-assessed terms for business partners and IT leadership.
  • Drive Project Success: Contribute to project scoping, master plans, and high-accuracy effort estimations for Statements of Work (SOW).

Operational Management

  • Optimize Pipelines: Manage and monitor enterprise production pipelines using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to prevent threats and scale performance.
  • Solve Critical Incidents: Lead deep root-cause analysis and resolution for high-impact production bugs, including providing occasional after-hours support when needed.
  • Assess New Tech: Perform formal product and tooling evaluations to give authoritative recommendations to leadership on new frameworks.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, combined with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience developing and supporting enterprise integration solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Experience leading or coordinating technical project work, including providing guidance on solution design, delivery planning, and implementation activities.
  • Enterprise Integration Expertise: Strong knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) patterns, microservices architecture, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, and cloud-based integration platforms.
  • Messaging and Data Technologies: Experience working with messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ, as well as relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Industry Certifications (Asset): Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MuleSoft Certified Developer, and/or MuleSoft Certified Architect certifications are considered assets.
