Job summary

A regional health authority in Winnipeg is seeking a dedicated nurse to join their team providing health care services in community settings. The ideal candidate will have a nursing education, at least 2 years of experience, and a valid Manitoba driver's license. Qualifications

  • 2 years related recent experience preferred.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. ARNM preferred.
  • Responsible for maintaining proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide health care services in a variety of community settings.
  • Maintain and provide nursing care knowledge related to community nursing.
  • Complete Required security and Criminal Records Checks.

Skills

Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize care for an individual or group(s)
Ability to respond to a variety of simultaneous demands
Demonstrated critical thinking/problem-solving skills

Education

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
CNA Community Health Nurses Certification

Tools

CPR training
Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license
