MIABC in Vancouver is seeking an Insurance Services Associate for a one-year contract to support local governments with liability, property, and ancillary insurance needs. You will work across assigned member accounts and assist with certificates, endorsements and policy changes.

Responsibilities include data entry in HubSpot/OMS, renewal tracking, and collaboration with brokers and staff. A Level 1 licence is mandatory; Level 2 preferred. Hybrid work options available.

Formación

• BC Insurance Licence required; Level 2 preferred.
• 3–5 years of commercial insurance or underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of cyber/construction insurance is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Respond to routine inquiries about policy coverage and service requests.
• Prepare and issue certificates of insurance and endorsements.
• Assist brokers with quotes, RFPs, and renewal docs.
• Aid in administration of new and renewal policies, binders.
• Maintain data in systems like HubSpot and OMS.
• Update Statements of Values and renewal tracking tools.
• Organize and maintain insurance files.
• Support internal projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with team and attend member events.
