Job summary

BCAA in West Kelowna is hiring a Service Advisor to greet customers and promote insurance products and memberships. You will work with Support Teams and Underwriting to tailor coverage and advise clients on auto, travel and home insurance while hitting sales goals.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a sales/service role, an Insurance License (or commitment to obtain within 45 days), and comfort with MS Office. Emphasis on customer service and community focus.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a sales and service environment.
• Level 1 Insurance license (or a commitment to secure within 45 days through BCAA).
• Completion of Autoplan Essentials (BCAA will provide time and cover the cost).
• Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.
• Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• CAIB certification, knowledge of ICBC systems, and ability to speak other languages is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and over the phone to promote BCAA insurance products and services.
• Collaborate with Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend the right coverage for customers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to support customers’ life events and future needs.
• Work with team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
• Pursue Insurance Advisor training and maintain licensing requirements.
