Job summary

Namgis Business Development Corp. seeks an Insurance and Fleet Coordinator to support the Namgis First Nation. Reporting to the Comptroller, you will coordinate insurance administration and manage fleet-related activities, ensuring assets are properly insured and fleet records are accurate.

You will maintain insurance records, track assets, coordinate policy renewals, assist with claims, and oversee vehicle and equipment records, collaborating with departments to keep data current and compliant.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent in Business/Office/Admin/Accounting or related field.
  • Two to three years of administrative experience.
  • Experience with insurance administration, fleet management, records management, or asset tracking is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate insurance records for all Nation policies.
  • Maintain fleet asset inventory and vehicle records.
  • Coordinate renewals, certificates, and documentation with brokers/providers.
  • Track insurance claims and maintain related records.
  • Support budgeting and procurement with insurance documentation.
