Jennifer Book - Desjardins Insurance Agent in Hamilton is seeking a full-time, office-based role to service clients and grow the book of business. The position emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting client relationships.

Requirements include customer service experience, insurance/financial services familiarity, strong phone skills, and the ability to obtain an OTL licence within one month of hire. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes incentives.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service and insurance/financial services.
Ability to obtain OTL General Insurance Licence within 1 month.
Excellent phone skills and proficiency with Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
Assist clients with billing issues.
OTL licence required within 1 month of hire date.
Serve clients, assess their needs, promote insurance products and help members and clients choose coverage.
Prepare quotes and issue insurance contracts.
Follow up on files, analyze renewals requiring special underwriting, and correct contracts as needed.
Respond to information requests and amend contracts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
