Role Description

This full-time, on-site Insurance Broker role is based in Saskatoon, SK. The Insurance Broker will meet with clients to assess their insurance needs, recommend appropriate products, and prepare quotes for home, auto, business, farm, and related coverage. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining policy terms, processing new applications, renewals, endorsements, and claims-related inquiries, while maintaining accurate client records in line with regulatory and company standards. The role involves building long‑term relationships through proactive follow‑up, delivering high‑quality customer service, and collaborating with colleagues and insurers to find suitable solutions. The Insurance Broker will also stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends to provide informed advice and support business growth.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, including knowledge of personal and commercial lines products and basic underwriting principles.
  • Foundational understanding of Finance and Retirement Planning to support clients with holistic risk and financial protection discussions.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Relevant insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain) in Saskatchewan, and familiarity with provincial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with office and brokerage management systems, attention to detail, and strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment and build trust‑based relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or similar financial services environment is an asset.
  • Post‑secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
