Job summary

Western Financial Group is hiring an Insurance Broker who will meet sales targets by quoting and referring new business, while building lasting relationships with customers to protect what matters most. The role involves providing quotes via phone, in-person, and email, and supporting home and auto policy purchases.

The ideal candidate has a General Level 1 Insurance License as an asset and strong computer skills, with prior sales-target experience.

Qualifications

• General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• Ability to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and via email.
• Experience meeting sales targets in a similar role.
• Experience using EPIC is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and email.

Insurance Broker

As an Insurance Broker you are responsible for meeting sales targets through quotes and by referring new business. Every day you will build lasting relationships with your customers, helping to protect what matters most to them.

Here is what a typical day looks like

• You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
• Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
• You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business

The value you bring

• General Level 1 Insurance License an asset
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs
• You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email
• Prior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable role
• Working experience in EPIC an asset
• Hours/Duration: 37.5 hours per week
