Job summary

The Co-operators in Canada is seeking an Associate Insurance Advisor II in the Retail Sales department. This office-based role focuses on selling and servicing personal lines, including auto and home, with an emphasis on client needs and long-term relationships.

You will work toward sales targets, complete front-line risk assessments, obtain the necessary licenses, and support growth of the agency while delivering excellent service to clients and communities.

Qualifications

• 1 year sales and service experience preferred
• Knowledge of auto and property insurance products
• Experience with selling techniques is an asset
• Willing and able to obtain provincial licensing (OTL)

Responsibilities

• Sales, service and profitable growth of personal lines (auto, home) products.
• Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
• Identify additional products/services that benefit the client.
• Complete front line risk assessment and underwriting guidelines.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections.
• Achieve personal goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity.
• Respond to client questions and concerns and resolve complaints.
• Proactively complete client reviews on auto and home portfolios.
