Westland Insurance Group Ltd is expanding and seeks an Insurance Advisor for our Cochrane, ON/Timmins, ON office in a hybrid role. You will educate clients on a broad range of insurance products and manage relationships within the branch.

You should have 2+ years in insurance, a RIBO/OTL license, and progress toward CAIB or CIP. This role emphasizes growth, professional development, and community presence in Timmins and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience.
• RIBO/OTL license with progress toward CAIB or CIP.
• Strong knowledge to tailor coverage for clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable personal lines recommendations.
• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes.
• Build lasting client relationships and support renewals and claims.
• Identify sales opportunities and cross-sell products.

Expected Compensation:The expected hiring range for this role is $21.28 to $25.67 based on a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

As an Insurance Advisor, you promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help us grow our presence and profile in the local community. You'll also serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases while supporting the development of team members

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience, supported by a RIBO/OTL license and progress toward your CAIB and/or CIP designation (financial support provided!)

• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow-up communication
• Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross-selling and up-selling products
• Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day-to-day operations as needed
