Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking an insulation installer to work on-site in Toronto, Canada. The role involves reading blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements, cutting and installing insulation, and securing materials using various methods.

The candidate should have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience and be prepared to work at the physical location. Experience with installing vapour barriers, fire-retardant materials, and scaffolding setup is beneficial.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials.
• Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.
