Agilent Technologies Windsor is seeking an Instrumentation Technician in Windsor, NS, Canada for a full-time, day-shift role. The job supports calibration, testing and repair of process instrumentation used in manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure safe and compliant plant operation, with opportunities to work on PLC/HMI, SCADA and DCS systems and participate in plant shutdowns and projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Instrumentation Technician required; Red Seal asset.
  • Minimum 2 years in manufacturing/instrumentation environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting of instrumentation, PLCs, and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, calibrate, maintain and repair process instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and equipment failures.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability.
  • Install, commission and validate new instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Calibrate transmitters, sensors and control devices.
  • Support PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS troubleshooting.
  • Review P&IDs and wiring diagrams; document work orders accurately.
  • Ensure GMP, safety and environmental compliance.
