Job summary

City of Kamloops is seeking a permanent, full-time Instrumentation Mechanic to design, install, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems across city facilities. You will support pumping stations, recreation facilities, and related hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic controls to ensure safe and efficient operation.

The role requires a Red Seal and minimum of three years’ trade experience, with eligibility for RCMP enhanced security clearance.

Qualifications

• Completion of Instrumentation and Control Technician Red Seal Program.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as an instrumentation technician.
• Ability to obtain RCMP enhanced security clearance; Canadian citizen or PR with 5-year residency.
