Job summary

Sinopec Canada is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician/Engineer to oversee automation and instrumentation systems in Grande Prairie and Fox Creek, reporting to the Senior Foreman, Maintenance. This full-time role requires hands-on expertise in oil and gas facilities.

You will troubleshoot SCADA/ PLC/HMI, instrument panels, and safety systems, coordinate with field operations, and help manage maintenance budgets and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Electrical or instrumentation experience in Oil & Gas.
• Electrician or instrumentation certifications preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in diverse teams.
• Solid understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automation and instrumentation systems in Grande Prairie and Fox Creek.
• Troubleshoot and repair SCADA/PLC/HMI hardware and software.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop maintenance systems and budgets for instrumentation.
• Support field operations and advise on maintenance issues.
