Job summary

Linxus Group in Edmonton seeks an Instrumentation, Electrical & Controls Manager to lead a multidisciplinary EI&C team, plan projects and ensure timely deliverables.

The role requires 7+ years in a leadership role and 10+ years in related industry, with a technical diploma or degree in Instrumentation Engineering and ASET/APEGA designation. Strong expertise in instrumentation and electrical design, estimating, and vendor bid analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a leadership role.
• 10+ years of experience in a related industry and scope of work.
• Technical Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalency.
• ASET or APEGA designation.
• Proficient in sizing, selection and application of instrumentation for process plant applications.
• Proficient in the design of electrical systems including power, lighting, controls, communications, grounding, fire alarm.
• Proficient knowledge of EI&C manufacturers and products.
• Proficient at estimating the EI&C portion of process equipment packages.
• Conducting a bid analysis for selection of the appropriate vendor.
• Inspecting equipment when received as required.
• Preparation of written sections for EI&C scope for equipment proposals.
• Testing and commissioning instrument equipment when required for a project.
• Managing and reviewing EI&C drawings and deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance to project scope
• Coordinating EI&C drawings and deliverables with other disciplines

Responsibilities
