Job summary

TNT Engineering Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta, seeks an Electrical Engineer with 2–8 years of experience to develop electrical drawing packages, area classifications, and layouts.

You will perform heat trace design using Thermon/Raychem, and assist with RFQ development and evaluation for electrical equipment and contractors. The role requires a diploma/degree in electrical engineering and membership or eligibility for APEGA.

Qualifications

• 2 to 8 years Electrical Engineering experience.
• Diploma or degree from an accredited post secondary institution in Electrical Engineering.
• Membership with APEGA or eligibility to obtain this.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical Drawing packages including Single Line Drawings, Area Classifications, and package electrical layouts and junction box wiring drawings.
• Perform Heat Trace Design using Thermon/Raychem or equivalent software.
• Assist with development, specification and evaluation of Electrical Equipment RFQs and Contractor RFQs.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to interpret electrical design requirements.
• Provide support to project managers and project team.

Job description

• Assist with development and evaluation of Contractor RFQs.
• Work with other Engineering disciplines to obtain information and interpret electrical design requirements.
• Provide support to project managers and project team.

Qualifications/Requirements:
